Central Station, Glasgow – Colourful Cityscape Giclée Print (A005)

Price range: £18.00 through £48.00

Description

Central Station, Glasgow is one of the most dynamic and energetic examples of Raymond Murray art, bringing one of Scotland’s busiest and most recognisable locations to life through vivid colour, movement, and expressive brushwork. This Central Station Glasgow print captures the pulse of the city centre — glowing lights, lively crowds, and the iconic façade of the station rising proudly above the street.

The artwork’s composition is rich with rhythmic palette-knife strokes. Murray sets the scene under a striking sky of greens, blues, and turquoise, creating a dramatic sense of atmosphere. The buildings that flank the station burst with oranges, reds, purples, and bright neon tones, giving this Scottish cityscape painting a modern, urban vibrancy. The familiar Central Station sign glows across the bridge, guiding the viewer’s eye into the heart of Glasgow’s bustling streets.

Below, groups of figures gather and move across rain-soaked pavements, their reflections scattered in electric blues and reds. It’s a beautifully observed moment: the everyday rhythms of commuting life reimagined with expressive intensity. Murray transforms the city into a luminous mosaic of shape and colour, making this colourful Glasgow artwork both atmospheric and unmistakably contemporary.

Printed as a premium giclée print, this piece delivers exceptional colour accuracy and detail, ensuring every sweep of paint and geometric highlight is faithfully reproduced. Whether you know Glasgow well or simply appreciate bold modern cityscapes, this Central Station Glasgow print offers a powerful visual tribute to the city’s character.

As with many examples of Raymond Murray art, the blend of abstraction and familiarity gives the piece long-lasting appeal. As a Scottish cityscape painting, it’s ideal for adding energy to living rooms, hallways, studios, or office spaces, and pairs beautifully with other colourful Glasgow artwork from the collection.
